Northeast route

1.- PUERTO DE FORNELLS

We leave the wonderful port of Fornells, one of the enclaves with more history as a fishing village in the north of the island of Menorca.

2.- LA MOLA

3.- NA POLIDA

We will pass by the cliffs of La Mola de Fornells. Where you will find the cave of Na Polida, more than 100 meters deep.

4.- CALA TOSQUETA O MACAR DEN TOSQUETA

Then we find the beach of Cala Pudenta, a beautiful beach, also exclusively accessible by boat where only some hikers who deviate from the Camí de Cavalls can reach. If the occupation allows it, we can anchor and spend some time swimming in its waters.

5.- SA LLOSA O CALA VERDE

Luego encontramos la playa de Cala Pudenta, una playa preciosa, también de acceso exclusivo en barco donde sólo algunos excursionistas que se desvían del Camí de Cavalls pueden llegar. Si la ocupación lo permite, podremos fondear y pasar un rato nadando en sus aguas.

Not far away we can stop at the urbanization of Son Parc, a beach where we find the sandy beach of Son Saura and two beach bars where you can eat.

Continuing north-west and turning towards the Cape of Favaritx we can anchor in the quiet Ollas de Sa Llosa or “Cala Verde”, a quiet place in and out of season. Its shallow depth and turquoise water is a beautiful attraction to spend the afternoon.

6.- PORT D’ADDAIA

The port of Addaia, one of the most secluded inlets of the north coast of Menorca, is narrow at the entrance, protected from the wind and surrounded by islets with quiet coves. It is the third largest harbor of the island, located between the park of S’Albufera des Grau and the Natural Reserve of the Biosphere of the North of Menorca. Nearby, surrounded by nature, is the village of Addaia with multiple services and a charming summer colony.

7.- FARO FAVARITX

If the weather permits and the sailors want to enjoy sailing the last two coves that we can visit are Cala Tortuga and Cala Presili (*consult with the skipper) within the Natural Park of Albufera del Grau where we will have one of the most majestic lighthouses of the island, Cal Tortuga with a large expanse of white sand and always with people enjoying the beach.

Cala Presili is more intimate and the closest to the Favaritx lighthouse, an incredible natural environment where you can spend the last hours of the crossing.

Returning to the port we will try to make a short walk through one of the typical places of the port of Fornells, being able to see S’Arenalet and the island of Ses Sargantanes before arriving at the port of Fornells at the end of the day.
